These safe, secure, functional, and resilient structures support the U.S. Department of State, U.S. Department of Defense, U.S. government community, and military personnel serving abroad, and play an essential role in furthering U.S. defense and policy objectives.
An experienced U.S. government cleared-construction general contractor, Caliburn has a proven track record of effective project management, cost and schedule control, construction site safety, and quality assurance. We understand the specialized processes and procedures associated with secure/classified construction, and 95 percent of our personnel in these programs have secret or top secret clearances. The sensitive nature of our work requires specialized credentials, processes, procedures, and know-how. With more than two decades of experience working on secure/classified construction projects—often in austere, complex, and international environments—Caliburn is uniquely qualified for sensitive building projects. We are astute at managing the geographic, political, environmental, and cultural dynamics of OCONUS diplomatic and military construction, and are experts at overcoming local procurement, logistics, and labor force challenges.

Securing Cyber Operations
Located 60 miles from the demilitarized zone that separates North and South Korea, Camp Humphreys is the largest U.S. overseas military base in the world. Caliburn’s secure area construction supports Cyber Mission Force team operations at the base. All work is performed by cleared U.S. labor. The project scope includes procurement, shipment, and storage of classified material, and the fitting out of new office space, security and alarm systems, and a dedicated specialty server room maintained at SCIF-level security.

Building Diplomacy Down Under
After 25 years, the U.S. Consulate in Sydney, Australia, is moving to a new location. Caliburn is managing the classified construction project for the relocated consulate. The scope of work includes significant demolition and a fit-out of the interior space; structural alterations and modifications; extensive upgrades and renovations to the building’s systems; and the construction of cleared-access areas. The project complies with DoS anti-terrorism and force protection requirements and other threat-mitigation measures.
