What We Do

Widespread Provider Network

Caliburn’s provider network includes more than 13,000 healthcare practitioners in 50 states, U.S. territories, and on four continents. Thanks to our extensive network, we perform more than 200,000 exams annually in the U.S. alone, and can quickly ramp up to manage even the most widespread medical exam program.

Technology in Action
Streamlining the Exam Workflow

Our mLink Medical Tracking System (MTS) is vital to managing the entire exam process. From generating exam and test requirements to assigning geographically convenient medical exam facilities, MTS streamlines the medical examination workflow for both applicants and physicians. It also monitors status and turnaround times, tracks timeframe constraints, and performs quality assurance functions.

Commercial Exam Management Programs
Keeping America’s Railways On Track

BNSF Railway is one of the largest railroads in North America, operating in 28 states and three Canadian provinces. Caliburn has been playing a critical role in ensuring its safe and smooth operations by providing pre-employment, DOT, board award, and medical surveillance exams. We also perform Medical Review Officer (MRO) services for the company’s drug and alcohol program. A client since 2005, BNSF Railway employs our medical professionals to perform up to 150 pre-hire exams per week for more than 25 different labor categories.

Government Exam Management Programs
Managing Medical Standards Program

Since 2014, Caliburn has been conducting a medical standards program for National Park Service arduous-duty occupations – law enforcement, scuba divers and structural fire fighters. This is a nationwide program with some employees residing in remote areas. As a comprehensive occupational medical exam program for applicants and employees, the medical standards program encompasses eight types of medical exams including baseline medical exams, periodic medical exams, exit exams, respirator clearance, firearms instructor clearance, wild-land fire clearance, fitness for duty, and return to duty.
