Cape Canaveral, Fla. — (BUSINESS WIRE) Caliburn International, LLC (Caliburn) showcased the expanded medical and on-site service delivery options available through its Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) at recent events at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station (CCAFS), the first of many on-site occupational exams performed by the Caliburn mobile medical team.

Caliburn’s MMU is fully equipped to support a wide range of services, making it self-sufficient and responsive regardless of the location. Typical medical service options include wellness events, medical surveillance exams, surge hiring events, drug and alcohol testing, and disaster response with triage and first aid to support local businesses and community outreach programs. The MMU provides large numbers of occupational exams in a single day. For customers, this means minimized downtime and employees who are able to return to work quickly.

“Our dynamic team of medical professionals are excited to be a part of this innovative concept. We are providing high quality medical services to our clients,” said Caliburn’s MMU Director, Jacqueline Rodriguez Valdes.

According to Dan Jones, who leads Caliburn’s Medical Management Solutions line of business, “The medical surveillance required in support of the space industry is very complex and highly regulated. We want to make it easy and more cost-effective for our customers to keep their workers healthy and safe while maintaining regulatory compliance.”
